Responsibilities include:

  • Greeting clients, assessing their needs, and providing recommendations based on the maintenance schedule
  • Coaching, training, and supporting the Service Advisor team
  • Opening and Closing duties as necessary
  • Respond to customer complaints and survey alerts
  • Review service history and completed repairs; recommend service; organize shuttle service
  • Communicate to the technician detailed information regarding vehicle issue
  • Review finished repair order for proper completion, pricing accuracy, and legibility
  • Promotes cooperation and teamwork among technicians and support staff and assists Service Advisors when needed
  • Maintains composure and courtesy in dealing with customers and fellow employees
  • Cooperate with all other dealership personnel necessary to guarantee quality service
  • Ensure the technicians efficiency and productivity reaches standard levels
  • Think strategically and develop operational goals for service
  • Perform other related duties as assigned


Requirements:

  • Must have at least 2 years Automotive Service Management or Assistant Service Management experience
  • Ability to operate the department at a profit according to the dealership guidelines
  • Must be able to provide the highest quality customer service in an honest, professional and efficient manner
  • Computer skills are an asset
  • Knowledge of CDK an asset
  • Passion for Customer Service
  • Driver’s license in good standing and clean driver’s abstract required

  • Keeps abreast of federal and provincial regulations and municipal bylaws governing the activities of the departments
  • Works closely with staff members to find ways to increase the profitability
  • Endeavors to promote co-operation and a team spirit
  • Evaluate the performance of personnel in the departments at regular intervals.
