Position Overview


We are seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Product to lead our software product development efforts. Reporting to the President, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, B2B SaaS software development, agile methodology and leadership, with a proven track record of driving innovation and delivering high-quality products in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. As the VP of Product, you will oversee the entire product lifecycle, from concept to customer use, ensuring that the product strategy aligns with business goals and customer needs.



Key Responsibilities


  • Leadership & Strategy
  • Lead and manage the product management function.
  • Define and implement the product development strategy, vision, and roadmap in alignment with the company's business objectives.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product development success and drive continuous improvement.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability across the entire product development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate closely with executive leadership to align product strategy, timelines and resource allocation with corporate growth strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with the VP of Technology to ensure product development processes are efficient and productive.
  • Product Management & Development
  • Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation and requirements gathering to design, and development collaboration.
  • Establish frameworks to ensure product teams meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Establish and track key product metrics to measure product success and drive continuous improvement.
  • Leverage customer, product, and behavioral data to guide decisions and measure product success, ensuring alignment with customer needs.
  • Work closely with product managers to define clear product roadmaps, prioritize features, and make trade-offs based on market needs and technical feasibility.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, customer service, and client success, to ensure product-market fit and customer satisfaction.
  • Team Development & Management
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performance product team.
  • Promote professional development and ensure the continuous growth of team members through training, mentorship, and career progression.
  • Foster an agile, collaborative, and results-driven work environment.
  • Encourage ambition and a drive for excellence within the team.
  • Innovation & Continuous Improvement
  • Drive the innovation of new products, features, and technologies to keep the company ahead of market trends and customer demands.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to integrate into the product development process.
  • Pay special attention to the rapidly changing landscape of Generative Artificial Intelligence, ensure that this is factored into product strategy to enhance development and ensure Triton’s value proposition continues to remain relevant and leading edge.
  • Become an ambassador for the use of Generative Artificial Intelligence to increase productivity across the product team and the rest of the organization.
  • Identify strategic partners to enhance the features and value of Triton’s products.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication
  • Maintain close relationships with key customers and partners to gather feedback, ensure product satisfaction, and identify new opportunities.
  • Implement frameworks within the product development process and products themselves to gather user feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Partner with marketing and sales teams to ensure successful product launches and go-to-market strategies.
  • Product Marketing
  • Ensure that customers and the market clearly understand the value of new features through in-app messaging, training, and other relevant communication.
  • Lead pricing strategy in alignment with market positioning and revenue goals.


Qualifications


  • Experience
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in product management within the software industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing product teams and delivering successful products from ideation to launch.
  • Deep understanding of product management, software engineering practices, and agile methodologies.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to drive product strategy, development, and delivery.
  • Skills
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Ability to make data-driven decisions and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of the strengths, limitations and application of AI technologies, with a particular focus on generative AI and large language models
  • Experience with cloud technologies, SaaS products, and modern software architectures (e.g., microservices, APIs).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
