Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Drive and support the embedding of the business strategies by working in partnership with the business;
  • Provide guidance and input on workforce planning, team restructures, and succession planning, ensuring that core HR processes are applied appropriately and in a legally compliant manner;
  • Partner with leadership teams to understand key business priorities and HR implications;
  • Training of new and existing HR processes and policies to all levels of the organization
  • Execute annual HR programs and processes in the areas of attraction, compensation, performance management, and employee development;
  • Administration of monthly reports, HR file administration, payroll, benefits and policy implementation; Prepare/configure excel data files and system reports.
  • Administration of Company benefit plans
  • Optimize current HR processes, policies and programs based on industry best practices;
  • Advise managers on legal compliance matters, including provincial legislation and collective agreements;
  • Ensure the local HR Strategy is aligned with the Business Strategy and Global HR Strategy ensuring organisational objectives are achieved and aligned with the organisation’s vision, mission, values, culture and objectives;
  • Leverage internal and external professional networks in order to achieve better talent and HR outcomes.



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources Management, or related field
  • Be able to build strong relationships with the organization as the trusted source for all HR related matters;
  • Be point of contact for employee pay concerns and liaise with payroll for resolve.
  • Experience with an HRIS and other HR tools
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication
  • Strong trouble shooting skill set with ability to put solutions into place within a self-directed environment
