What is a Talent Acquisition Specialist?
As a TRAFFIX Talent Acquisition Specialist, you’ll be responsible for executing recruitment tasks to attract, evaluate, and hire qualified candidates while fostering a positive employer brand and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
What does a day in the life of a Talent Acquisition Specialist look like?
A day in the life of a TRAFFIX Talent Acquisition Specialist includes the following:
- Staying abreast of industry trends and best practices
- Collaborating with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and long-term goals
- Enhancing the candidate experience to attract top talent and support company’s growth objectives
- Leveraging data analytics to make informed decisions (salary and roles)
- Collaborate with HR to ensure seamless and holistic approach to human capital management
- Oversee and optimize the organization’s presence on professional networking platforms and other places that expose TRAFFIX to candidates (such as LinkedIn)
- Ensure consistency is achieved on all internal and external recruitment platforms.
- Researching and developing knowledge of candidate characteristics/profiles to identify candidates that are likely to succeed at TRAFFIX as employees.
- Articulating and refining TRAFFIX employee value propositions (general and role-specific) and effectively communicating it to candidates.
- Screen resumes & conduct prescreening interviews to assess and identify top candidates to progress to hiring manager (and other stakeholder) interviews.
Who are you?
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 2 years of experience in recruiting candidates.
- An educational degree or diploma is preferred.
- Knowledge of current trends and developments in artificial intelligence.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (for document creation, formatting, and editing) is a must.
- USA & CANADA recruiting knowledge is an asset.
You bring expertise to the table and your ability to identify and attract top-tier talent to drive organizational success.
You excel at active listening and communication displaying empathy and utilizing emotional intelligence to navigate conversations effectively to convey the value proposition of the opportunities presented to candidates, fostering meaningful connections.
