Product Manager - Compact, off highway, RTV, Turf Equipment


My client is currently seeking a full-time Product Manager. In this position, the ideal candidate will be assigned the Compact, off highway, RTV, Turf Equipment portfolio and oversee several functions such as, development of strategies for the portfolio, project lead for cross functional activities & projects and proposal management in respect to business plans.


Responsibilities:


  • Monitor and evaluate market conditions, competitor activities and market trends to formulate Product Portfolio Strategies
  • Identify, propose and take charge of projects and business cases as required to meet product line goals
  • Deliver, maintain and implement feasible and measurable plans for the product line encompassing the above.
  • Take overall responsibility for success of turf equipment & RTV product lines.
  • Provide in-depth support and input on new product development for the Canadian market
  • Plan for new product launch and product promotion with marketing support
  • Travel for field research, dealer education/training/demonstration and participation at trade shows and special events


Qualifications:


  • University degree, college diploma or certificate or equivalent experience
  • Extensive knowledge of Compact, off highway, RTV, Turf Equipment industries or related equipment fields is required
  • Sales, marketing and product experience is strongly preferred
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills and listening skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to positively influence cross-functional teams
  • Understanding of the intermediate level of business economics (P&L, margins, market share analysis, retail financing, incentive programs etc.)
  • Able to work with minimal supervision and be a positive and contributing team member
