Role OverviewWe are seeking a Senior DBA skilled in SQL Server, Oracle, and Postgres, responsible for database engineering, performance tuning, automation, and enterprise-level support in a mission-critical environment. Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure, maintain & optimize databases (SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres)Ensure database health, availability, performance & resiliencyPartner with developers & production support teams to resolve issuesParticipate in on-call rotation (alerts, escalations, weekends/holidays)Manage backup, recovery, failover & DR strategiesSupport database changes and ensure proper documentationConduct capacity planning and performance analysisContribute to team strategy, automation, and process improvements Technical SkillsCore Required SkillsSQL Server ():Clustering, AlwaysOn, performance tuning Oracle (19c / 12c):RAC, ASM, DataGuard, RMAN, Oracle Enterprise Manager Postgres: 2+ years hands-on Operating Systems: Linux, Unix, Windows Server Scripting: Shell, Python, PowerShell Storage: EMC SAN Practices: Agile, SDLCNice to HaveSQL Server in AzureOracle Exadata / ExaCCGoldenGateExperience with Cassandra, MongoDB, or other DB platforms Experience Needed6+ years hands-on with MSSQL ()3+ years hands-on with Oracle (19c/12c) on Unix/Linux2+ years with PostgresLarge-scale, highly available database experienceStrong performance tuning (Oracle Optimizer, MSSQL)Automation/API development using PythonStrong shell scripting & Linux scripting skills CompetenciesExperience in large 24 7 enterprise or banking environmentsStrong communication & documentation skillsAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentDetail-oriented, organized, and self-drivenSolid database architecture understandingTeam player with strong collaboration skills EducationBachelor's in Computer Science or related fieldDBA certifications are a plus
