We are currently hiring for a Maintenance Technician, a full-time role offering competitive wages, a comprehensive benefits package, and excellent potential for career growth.The ideal candidate is responsible to diagnose problems and performs repairs and maintenance on company equipment and facility. The incumbent will perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks and develop and maintain preventative maintenance programs. May also perform welding duties, yard maintenance and building maintenance as needed.This position requires relocation to the Englefeld/Humboldt or nearby area. May require weldingRespond to work order requestsPerform preventive maintenance on company vehicles, machines and toolsPerform facility maintenance/janitorial including air conditioning, yard maintenance, snow removal, repair water and sewer lines, and move/install/maintain office equipmentPerform minor electrical tasksReview, monitor and maintain daily/monthly inspection sheets on company equipment and toolsAssist with plant layout changes. Coordinate equipment changes and utility hook-upsPerform Lockout/Tagout tasks as needed and complete required documentationSchedule and communicate with outside contractorsMay source suppliers and inventory for tools and partsUses independent judgment for processes utilized to determine whether equipment is to be repaired or replacedMay assist other departments as neededTrain other team membersMay act as lead of departmentOther duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's):Knowledge and familiarity with machine shop equipment, shop tools, cranes, forklifts, auto vehicles, welding machine, hoists and air compressorsGood mechanical aptitudeBasic math and computer skillsKnowledge of electrical equipment and repairs, plumbing, basic HVAC, pneumatic requiredProblem solving and troubleshooting skillsGood communication skills, both verbal and writtenAble to read and interpret operation and parts manualsAbility to operate a forklift, man lift and overhead cranesPhysically capable of lifting 50 lbs alone and 100 lbs with assistanceAble to prioritize and manage workloads and schedulesAble to work under pressure to ensure deadlines are metQualificationsHigh Post-secondary education in a technical field, or a combination of previous maintenance experience and educationValid Class 5 Drivers LicenseAbility to lift or carry up to 50lbsPerforming physical labor for large amounts of time dailyWorking outside in the elements (cold, hear, rain, snow)Ready to take the next step in your career?Visit to learn more about us, and apply this job posting to express your interest or ask any questions.
