Role Overview:This is a true leadership position where you will own a portfolio of high-visibility, multi-million-dollar strategic programs while directly managing and mentoring a team of Project Managers.You'll be the strategic partner to executive stakeholders, drive best-in-class governance, and play a pivotal role in evolving the bank's delivery practices across the enterprise.Key Responsibilities:Lead end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional programs ($5M+ budgets, multi-year horizons)Directly manage, coach, and develop a team of Project Managers (hiring, onboarding, performance, career growth)Partner with C-suite and senior leaders to define scope, secure buy-in, and deliver measurable business valueOwn financial management: budgeting, forecasting, accruals, variance analysisChampion change management and organizational transformation initiativesContinuously enhance EPMO methodologies, tools, and talent practicesMust-Have Qualifications:7+ years progressive Project Management experience + 3+ years directly managing PMsProven success delivering large-scale projects in financial services (banking/wealth/insurance)Strong financial acumen (budgeting >$5M, forecasting, variance reporting)Deep expertise in change management and stakeholder influence at executive levelExperience in matrixed environments, vendor management, and hybrid Agile/Waterfall deliveryOutstanding communication, leadership, and people-development skillsAdvanced MS Project Online, Excel, PowerPointHighly Desired:PMP certificationLean Six Sigma (Yellow Belt or higher)Bilingual English/French (big plus for Toronto)
