TCS' proactive stance on climate change and award-winning work with communities across the world have earned it a place in leading sustainability indices such as the MSCI Global Sustainability Index and the FTSE4Good Emerging Index.Skills and Responsibilities: •Senior Platform Engineer Objective Purpose Senior platform engineer required with a passion for making other engineers better and enhancing developer experiences. •Must have skillsets A broad understanding of DevOps tools, application and cloud software delivery and processes. •Ability to write clean, efficient code and automation across the full lifecycle Design, code, test, debug, and document software, and enhance existing components to ensure that software meets business needs. •Strong communication skills are needed to both gather requirements from communities and communicate the vision of the platform. •Software development experience with integrating CICD pipelines, automation, and modern DevOps patterns. •A problem-solving technologist with experience in software engineering, e.g. building integrating with internal platforms or the DevOps stack. •Strong coding experience with JavaScript TypeScript, React.js, and Node.js. •Proven ability to partner with domain SMEs (Delivery Teams, Software Engineers, Security, Cloud Infrastructure, etc.) to analyze, design, and deliver powerful features and capabilities •Required Tech stack tools experience NodeJS Typescript React Java CICD Full DevOps stack (Git (Bitbucket GitHub), Jenkins, Ansible Security stack (SonarQube, Snyk, Check marx) Restful APIs Markdown Mk docs AWS •Nice to have Preferred Skills Backstage framework exposure is a huge plus. •Any history of customizing an IDP (like Backstage) - for example, plugins using React, Typescript and/or Node.js Infrastructure as CodeTata Consultancy Services Canada Inc. is committed to meeting the accessibility needs of all individuals in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and the Ontario Human Rights Code (OHRC).
