Peoplesoft Technical Business AnalystTerm: January 2026 to August 2026 with possibility of extension.Hybrid Work Model: 3 days onsite/2 days remoteOur Client is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to support the migration from the Research Management System (RMS) and Electronic Research Services Office (eRSO) applications to the PeopleSoft Grants and Contract modules.Responsibilities:Ensure adherence to the ITIO Methodology, use of our BA standard templates, as well as the specific Solution Delivery processes and standards.Liaise with the ITIO group for additional guidance on ITIO BA standards.Ensure all project documentation and deliverables are stored in the official SharePoint project repository.Ensure that project decisions are formally documented as per the ITIO Methodology.Provide reporting and status updates to the ITIO team as required.Ensure compliance with standards, policies, and procedures.Deliverables:1. Data Cleanup & MigrationReview data mapping to confirm data extractions are completeWork with the technical team and business groups to resolve data migration issues and data cleanup2. Quality AssuranceDevelop test strategy, test plan and test casesTest execution and defect trackingDeliverables: Testing strategy, plan and test cases3. Reporting & Data WarehouseWork with development teams and business groups to review:Existing reports and queriesNew management reports and queriesPrepare test cases, execute testing and track deficienciesValidate data integrity and consistency across reports and data warehouse tablesSupport analysis for data quality issues and recommend corrective actionsQualifications and skills:Minimum 8 years' experience as a Functional/Data/Business AnalystStrong background in data conversion and migration from third-party systemsExperience with PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 (up to Image 49) and PeopleTools 8.60, including functional modules such as Grants, Contracts, and Project Costing (Must Have)Experience working on enterprise level programs and familiarity with BA methodologies and tools.Ability to work with a large cross-section of users (Research, Finance and Research Legal)Strong facilitation skillsExceptional written and oral communication skills and a demonstrated ability to clearly articulatemessages to a variety of stakeholders.Strategic, critical and analytical thinking, decision-making and problem-solving.Influence and engage all levels of stakeholders and support change.Ensure the library of project documentation are maintained and communicated to the consultants, developers and the entire teamPost secondary/public sector experience (Nice to Have)Highly proficient in communication skills MUST HAVE PeopleSoft FSCM and PeopleTools experience as well as functional modules such as Grants, Contracts, and Project Costing. Open to seeing Grants/Contracts/Project Costing modules experience from other similar ERPS as wellMust be:Flexible and able to work in a dynamic environment and changing situationsA team player and able to work collaboratively with and through othersAble to meet deadlines and manage time effectively
