Senior Business Systems Analyst (Contract Position)Number of Positions: 1 Duration: 6 months initial contractLocation: Toronto, ON, CAMust be eligible to work in CanadaHybrid position, 2-3d/w onsite in downtown Toronto mandatory January 2026 start Roles and responsibilities:Looking to hire an experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to support a significant, multi-faceted project involving the transition and implementation of the Charles River Investment Management System (CRIMS).Requirements and Documentation: Lead the business analysis efforts from initial specification writing through to final documentation.Charles River Expertise: Apply deep knowledge of CRIMS, particularly its use within Mutual Fund and Fund Accounting contexts, and how it interfaces with surrounding internal systems.Full Lifecycle Support: Serve as a key resource across the entire project lifecycle, including detailed requirements gathering, system design input, testing (UAT and functional), and data validation.Data and Integration: Focus on technical-business aspects such as documenting the data ingestion process into Charles River and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data flowing through various integrated systems.Business Consultation: Provide subject matter expertise on back-office operations, including the reconciliation of funds, assessing current processes, and identifying how the Charles River implementation will solve current business challenges.Must have skills/experience/qualifications:7-10+yrs of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the financial services industry.5yrs of Charles River (CRIMS) Expertise: Mandatory experience working directly on a Charles River implementation, upgrade, or significant integration project.Domain Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of Mutual Fund, Fund Accounting, and investment back-office systems.Proficiency in requirements gathering, process modeling, testing strategy, and documentation (spec writing to final documentation).Technical Aptitude: Must have experience working closely with technical teams on system integration, data ingestion, and testing internal data flows.Must have a word format resume to apply
