IT ManagerAbout Our ClientOur client is a fast-growing alternative funding firm delivering working-capital solutions to U.S. businesses while offering investors stable fixed-income returns. With a robust asset portfolio and new funds on the horizon, they are scaling their IT function to support rapid expansion and institutional-grade operations.The RoleAs the IT Manager, you will own the full IT stack-on-prem hardware, cloud integrations, security, compliance, and automation-while leading a lean, high-impact team. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and wants to grow into senior management.Core ResponsibilitiesUpgrade, maintain, and enforce HIPAA compliance in partnership with 3rd-party specialists.Ensure 99.9%+ uptime on on-prem servers and critical systems.Provide after-hours on-call support (reasonably managed-late-night fixes = WFH or flex start the next day).Onboard new hires, manage equipment lifecycle, and deliver security & best-practice training.Run the internal help-desk and champion user adoption.Drive IT automation and new initiatives to scale operations.Required Experience5-10 years of end-to-end IT management (infrastructure, security, support).IT Security or Network Security degree (or equivalent certifications).Proven track record in on-prem + cloud hybrid environments.Highly Valued Skills & CertificationsDevOps fundamentals - Docker, CI/CD, open-source production deployments.Infrastructure as Code - Terraform, Azure ARM, etc.Automation tools - Airflow, Ansible, NiFi.Azure Certifications (SC-100, SC-200, SC-300, AZ-500, MS-102) or vendor equivalents.Governance & Audit - CISA, CISSP, CISM, CCSP, ITIL 4.Nice-to-HavesPython scripting for automation.Exposure to LLMs / AI workflows.Why Join?Be the architect of IT at a high-growth FinTech-your systems will directly fuel rapid expansion.Clear development path as the firm scales.Competitive comp ($90K-$120K neg)Downtown Toronto officeReady to build secure, scalable IT that powers real business impact?
