LeverageTek is actively seeking a Azure Sr Software Engineer/Tech Lead for a 12-month contract with its Ottawa-based customer.Work LocationRemote in Ottawa, ON.Security RequirementMust have a Government of Canada Enhanced Reliability Clearance.Key TasksTake a technical leadership role in making design decisionsGather requirements, design and build middleware solutionsDevelop integrations on the Azure platformImplement and test the software fixes and remediate any vulnerabilitiesSupport the software deployments and go-live production deploymentsWork with the team to integrate test automation tools and mechanisms for API component testing, regression testing. Key Qualifications10 years in Software Engineering with knowledge of the SDLCStrong knowledge and demonstrated experience in Azure software developmentHands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and its relevant build, deployment, automation, integration, DevOps, networking, and security technologies in cloud and hybrid environments QualificationsDemonstrated experience in managing integration design patterns and practices including API virtualization, resilient event streaming, event driven architecture and asynchronous processingAdvanced knowledge in Web services, microservices, and API developmentAdvanced knowledge in Integration services, including JSON, REST, and SOAP protocolsDemonstrated and experience in agile projects on Azure DevOpsEffective communication skills with ability to understand the squad's priorities and propose technical decisions tied to priorities AssetsBilingual in both official languages (French and English) About LeverageTek Staffing SolutionsFounded in 2003, LeverageTek provides end-to-end, cross-functional staffing solutions throughout North America.
