Maplesoft Group is currently seeking a Hybrid System Admin for our Federal Government client. This is a hybrid role in Ottawa, ON.Tasks and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:Education:- Degree/diploma in Science, Engineering, or IT from a Canadian institutionOR equivalent foreign credential with Canadian equivalencyOR any degree/diploma + 60 months IT experienceExperience:- 48 months in last 6 years in system administration within a System of Systems environmentScope of Work:- Administer and maintain client distributed infrastructureTasks include:- Server & virtualization management- Microsoft services (AD, Exchange)- Linux & Windows servers- Security hardening, compliance (ITSG-33)- Automation scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python)- Incident response & forensic analysis- Documentation, SOPs, architecture diagrams- Training & mentorshipDeliverables:- Technical documentation (architecture, SOPs)- Security documentation (hardening checklists, access controls)- Monitoring dashboards, automation scripts- Compliance & performance reports- Incident response reports- Monthly status reportsMaplesoft Group prides itself on its distinct corporate culture and recognizes that success is a direct reflection of our most valuable asset - our people.
