There is no option to work remotely.Work site environment: Noisy, Dusty, Odours, DangerousWork setting: Plastic products manufacturers, IndustrialResponsibilitiesTasks Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule activities of production workers who operate processing machines and who fabricate, assemble, finish or inspect plastic or rubber parts and products Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other work units Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems Participate in marketing plans and implementation Oversee safety of operations Monitor movement of supplies and materials between departments Monitor quality and production levels Maintain records on inventory control system Enforce policies and procedures Resolve conflict situations Monitor staff performance Maintain an inventory of raw materials and finished products to prevent shortages Coordinate work activities to ensure projects meet deadlines and budgetsSupervision Labourers in rubber and plastic products manufacturing Plastics processing machine operatorsExperience and specializationComputer and technology knowledge: MS Office, Enterprise resource planning (ERP) softwareScientific specializationRecyclingAdditional informationTransportation/travel information: Public transportation is availableWork conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Fast-paced environmentWeight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)Own tools/equipment: Tools, Steel-toed safety bootsPersonal suitability: Excellent oral communication, Excellent written communication, Team player, Efficient interpersonal skills, Reliability, Proactive, LeadershipBenefitsHealth benefits: Health care planOther benefits: Paid time off (volunteering or personal days)Who can apply for this job?The employer accepts applications from: Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary residents of Canada other candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permitHow to applyBy email: Advertised until: 2026-02-23
