They are looking for an Estimator to join their growing team - and if you're ready to grow with a company that's building big things (literally), this could be your next exciting career move.Territory: QuebecWorkplace: Hybrid (Office in Lanaudière region)Products/Services: Finishing material Salary: Base between $65,000 and $80,000Commissions/Bonus: N/ACar allowance: N/AExpense's reimbursement: Reimbursement will be provided for all reasonable expenses.Other Benefits:Health and dental insurance programThree weeks paid vacationBase phone line and laptop providedFunctions:Analyze project plans - Read architectural/design drawings, take measurements, calculate angles, areas, and volumes.Prepare cost estimates - Determine costs for materials, labor, subcontractors, installation, and delivery; prepare budget proposals.Create technical drawings - Use AutoCAD to produce production plans and technical drawings for manufacturing.Coordinate with stakeholders - Communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, manufacturers, and occasionally clients; negotiate pricing and track requests.Manage project costs - Monitor budgets, anticipate expenses, compare supplier bids, and ensure technical feasibility.Handle large/multi-unit projects - Prepare estimates and bids for large-scale residential projects (multi-unit buildings, kitchens & bathrooms).Requirements:Work in hybrid settings - Split time between office, home, and project sites as required.Production drawing experienceAutoCAD proficientKnowledge of estimating toolsMicrosoft Office expertDevelopment vs Maintenance: N/ARoad vs Office: 10% vs 90%Languages: Bilingual (French and English) requiredEducation: College Diploma or Technical Program.Training: On-the-job onboarding and trainingOvernight Travel: N/A Years of experience: 5+ years of experience as an estimator, ideally within construction, cabinetry, or interior finish projects.Other requirements: Transferable contacts: Strong analytical and math skillsAble to interpret and create plansTransferable Knowledge:Excellent communication and negotiationDetail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
