Known for their innovation and commitment to craftsmanship, they stay current with the latest technologies to provide clients with trusted, long-lasting Building Envelope Solutions.OVERVIEWAs the Glazing Estimator, you will play a key role in analyzing project requirements, preparing accurate cost estimates, and developing competitive bid proposals for industrial, commercial, and institutional glazing projects. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will collaborate closely with clients, project foremen, and internal teams to ensure estimates are precise, timely, and aligned with project needs.This role is ideal for an individual with a strong background in glazing estimation-preferably on large-scale projects-who thrives in a detail-oriented, collaborative environment and values long-term growth within an established, reputable company.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESReview and analyze blueprints, specifications, and scope documents to understand project requirementsPrepare accurate cost estimates for glazing projects, including materials, labour, and installation needsDevelop and present detailed bid proposals to commercial clientsConduct site visits to confirm measurements, assess conditions, and gather required informationCollaborate with the Branch Manager, Project Foremen, and internal teams to support planning and material procurementMaintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, providing clear communication and timely responsesStay current with glazing systems, materials, technologies, and industry standards to ensure precise and competitive estimatingQUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEPost-secondary education in a related field, or a minimum of 5 years of experience in Glazing Estimation (large-scale commercial preferred)Strong knowledge of glazing materials, building envelope systems, and construction processesExceptional attention to detail and clear communication skillsValid Driver's License and a clean Driving Abstract requiredKnowledge of proper PPE use and fall protection equipmentAbility to travel to job sites and off-site locations as necessaryWHAT THEY OFFERFull-time, permanent position (Monday-Friday)Competitive salary and performance-based incentive planGroup health and dental benefitsRRSP programPaid vacationSupportive work environment with professional growth opportunitiesJOIN THE TEAMDo you take pride in precision, craftsmanship, and delivering accurate, competitive estimates?
