Forward Deployed Engineer (Software Focus)Hybrid Remote - Toronto, ONWe are seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to support the deployment and integration of advanced AI and data solutions for investment and sustainability applications. In this role, you'll collaborate with internal engineering and AI teams, as well as client IT groups, to design, configure, and deploy scalable systems across cloud and on-prem environments.Key ResponsibilitiesDeploy and manage scalable AI/data pipelines in cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) and on-prem environments.Build and maintain distributed data ingestion, ETL, and ML training/inference services.Containerize and manage applications using Docker and Kubernetes.Collaborate with clients to define system requirements, environment setup, and deployment pipelines.Support client deliverables, technical documentation, and release management.Qualifications3+ years of experience in software engineering, deployment, or solutions engineering roles.Strong communication skills and client-facing experience.Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and Linux systems.Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or similar containerization tools.Experience with scripting (Bash) and Python.Knowledge of system design, ETL, and data warehousing principles.
