We are a people-business with a strong focus on safety. Teamwork guides us to engage and sustain long-term relationships with our employees and customers. We are currently seeking part-time Dock Support/Janitorial workers for our site in Red Deer, Alberta.

Schedule
Part-Time - Monday through Friday from 10am to 6:30pm;
On-call availability.
Pay
$22.75/hr
Responsibilities
Provide on-going cleaning support for the facility by sweeping, mopping, sanitizing surfaces, providing waste disposal, and dock cleaning;
Perform physically repetitive and demanding tasks including but not limited to: loading and unloading trucks, heavy lifting, pulling/pushing, prolonged standing and walking;
Operate power jacks to transport, stack, and move supplies (training provided);
Weight handling up to 50lbs independently, to move, pick, and pack automotive parts;
Ensure parts and materials are allocated safely, and stacked in accordance with weight and height distribution;
Wear all required PPE: CSA approved steel-toe safety shoes, gloves, safety vests, and/or masks and eyewear as applicable;
Follow all company instructions, safety policies and procedures;
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum of 6 months experience in a heavy labor or industrial cleaning industry;
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred;
Minimum high school level education or GED;
Previous experience operating power jacks is considered an asset;
Willing to work on-call during part-time hours as required;
Must be able to reliably commute to the Red Deer site for work.
