Client Objective:The client is hiring a Product Owner to lead the development of a new, browser-based food and beverage management platform designed for private clubs and hospitality organizations. The solution aims to modernize dining reservations, table management, and point-of-sale integration-similar to an advanced version of OpenTable, but tailored for the private club environment.Key Responsibilities:Own and manage the product roadmap for the new food & beverage solution.Act as the voice of the customer, gathering feedback and translating client needs into detailed user stories and product specs.Collaborate closely with engineers, senior product managers, and stakeholders.Bring ideas to improve table management, host management, and service efficiency.Work hybrid (2 days/week in Markham office).Ideal Candidate Profile:2-5 years of product ownership/management experience (client open to flexible experience range).Technology background (preferably SaaS or software for hospitality).Experience with food & beverage or hospitality environments-even early career experience as a server, bartender, or host is considered valuable for understanding end-user needs.Strong communicator who can articulate client pain points and drive product velocity.Experience in POS systems or hospitality software ecosystems strongly preferred.
