Location: Torlake Posting Start Date & Time: 11/21/2025 at 1:30pm Posting Expiration Date & Time: 11/25/2025 at 11:59pm Shift: Nights Number of Openings per Shift: cust_ShiftHours Department: TOR - Packaging Hourly Position Summary: Reporting to the Production Supervisor, Machine Operator 2 is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of production line equipment, ensuring all products meet established quality and food safety standards. This role plays a key part in maintaining a clean, compliant, and productive manufacturing environment. Major Duties and Responsibilities: Set up equipment for product runs and changeovers, including working with maintenance as required.Monitor and manage production activities to meet daily and weekly production plans.Perform corrective machine adjustments to maintain optimal performance.Maintain shift log of production and other data on Efficiency & Quality Application and ERP ApplicationAccurate and timely reporting and completion of Quality related documentation, issues or concernsAssist in training as required to ensure proper production SOPs, GMPs, equipment and Health and Safety Standards are met.Carry out timely and effective line handover between shifts, including the completion of proper documentation and accurate briefing on progress/issues.Ensure proper maintenance, sanitation and Health and Safety protocols are followed by all team members at all times.All other work as assigned by duly authorized Supervisor or Team Leader. Education and Experience: Minimum of 1 year of Machine Operator experience or equivalent requiredElectric Pallet Truck license is a definite asset Knowledge and Skills: Properly store, mix, and use cleaning chemicals in compliance with SOPs, HACCP, WHMIS, and safety procedures.Able to perform above duties in a fast-paced environment.Able to multi-task, prioritize and problem solve.Interact with customer during trials, audits and visits to provide information and answer production related questions.Able to follow verbal and written instructions related to duties.Able to provide verbal and written instructions to others.Operate machinery to process and bag, box or otherwise package food products.Good knowledge of GMPs, SOPs, Health & Safety procedures, including OHSA & WHMIS.Proficiency in ERP systems and production reporting tools.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
