Mission
We are currently looking for an electrical engineer with experience in industrial energy, to fill a project manager position. The incumbent will participate in CAPEX projects in the pulp and paper industry. They will work directly in our client's facilities in Windsor (Domtar). This is a great opportunity to showcase your skills in the management of industrial electricity and automation projects.

Primary responsibilities

  • Field work (power plant)
  • Pulp and paper sector
  • Manage projects in close collaboration with all stakeholders
  • Actively participate in project delivery from studies to commissioning
  • Prepare and monitor projects, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Approve and ensure followup of engineering documents
  • Plan, supervise and ensure daily project followup
  • Manage communications
  • Carry out field visits
  • Other relevant tasks

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or an equivalent
  • Active membership in the _Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec_ (OIQ)
  • More than 10 years of experience in electrical engineering
  • Project management/planning skills
  • Analytical skills and ability to design tailormade solutions based on clients' needs
  • Excellent communication skills (with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders)
  • Ability to write clear and wellstructured technical reports
  • Command of the French language (spoken and written); English (an asset)
  • ASP Construction card
