Overview:

Summary/Objective:

This position provides warehouse support and customer service. Warehouse associates work as a team or independently to provide receiving, warehousing, and order fulfillment services. This position will report directly to the Warehouse Supervisor or Warehouse Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • May operate some warehouse equipment: sit down forklift, order picker, reach truck, pallet jack, radio frequency scanner, etc.
  • Loads and unloads all incoming/outgoing freight from common carriers, delivery trucks, etc.
  • Ability to pick, pack, and ship orders per customer requirements
  • Ensures compliance with all documentation required for orders
  • Notates damage and piece counts
  • Verifies receipts against purchase orders
  • Assists in physical inventories
  • Ensures product is stocked and stored in correct locations
  • Keeps work area clean at all times
  • All other duties as assigned

Working Conditions:

Work Experience: Previous warehouse experience

Education:High School Diploma

Computer Skills: Basic computer skills, basic radio frequency scanner skills

Cross-functional skills:Basic knowledge of all department functions with ability to solve problems and troubleshoot processes within other departments.
