Rubberline Products Ltd, a fast-growing Industrial Product distributor with 5 locations in Ontario, is seeking a permanent, full-time Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist to join our head office team in Kitchener.
We are looking for an experienced and focused individual to undertake all aspects of AR/AP and who is comfortable with wearing many hats.
-About the Opportunity:_
- Responsible for creation and system entry of all client invoice billing and receipt of and posting of payments.
- Review status of accounts and initiates collection action by contacting customer.
- Review, analyze Accounts Receivable aging report and reconciliation the corresponding accounts on monthly basis including intercompany accounts.
- Process Credit Applications and monitor AR coverage and credit limits.
- Responsible for validation, entry and posting of vendor invoices.
- Process weekly payments including cheques and wire/EFT.
- Review, analyze Accounts Payable aging report and reconciliation the corresponding accounts on monthly basis including intercompany accounts.
- Prepare reports.
About You:_
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- High school diploma or equivalent. Degree preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook
- Experience with general leger and bank reconciliation processes
- Experience in a businesstobusiness environment preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizing, prioritizing and analytical skills
- High accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to consistently meet deadline
- A team player who works well with colleagues and contributes to a positive working environment
