Job summary
DART has been growing at a rapid pace over the last few years. To sustain this rapid growth, we are now committed to increase our production capacity to meet our customer requests. Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Warehouse Shipper will be responsible for ensuring accurate and seamless outgoing shipments.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare shipping documents to transfer out product
  • Receipt of items and merchandise
  • Match product with shipping orders and purchase orders
  • Ensure that shipments contain proper documentation and if multiple items per shipment, ensure item lists are complete.
  • Schedule pickup with Freight Forwarders, coordinate customs clearance
  • Operate a Forklift in a safe manner to move product that must be shipped out
  • Maintain a safe work environment
  • May lift cases of product and/or stock merchandise according to documented procedures
  • Oversee the secure and accurate loading of shipments.
  • Report discrepancies to immediate supervisor.
  • Perform transactions within ERP system
  • Problem solve for any cases of missing documents, shipments and deliveries.
  • Maintain organized work area according to policies, procedures and safety regulations.
  • Make deliveries with a company vehicle as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures.
  • Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting.
  • Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule.
  • Ability to work in a lean manufacturing environment.
