Medical Office Assistant to join our busy practice
Job Summary
In this exciting opportunity, you will play an integral role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the practice.
The key responsibilities of this role will include assisting with a mix of both clinical tasks as well as administration duties, including but not limited to, triaging assessments, cleaning & prepping exam rooms, managing patient flow, scheduling, payment processing & insurance billing, promoting services, and collaborating with the clinicians within your scope, all while ensuring top-notch client service.
Schedule
40 hours per week between Monday - Saturday
Responsibilities
- Engage compassionately with our patients to ensure they feel heard, accommodated, and encounter a 5star experience at all times.
- Conduct triage assessments including vitals signs and medical history in preparation for the physicians.
- Maintain clinic cleanliness and ensure that exam rooms wellstocked as well as turned over in an efficient & tidy manner.
- Lead the administration of vaccines and vaccine management including regular inventory checks as well as ordering from and coordinating with Toronto Public Health.
- Efficiently handle all front desk tasks with pristine attention to detail, including but not limited to appointment scheduling, confirmations, billing and payment, and data entry.
- Contribute to smooth clinic flow and overall success of the business by providing reliable clinical as well as administrative support, adhering to policies & procedures and participating in goal achievement.
- Actively seek out opportunities to improve and expand our patients' experience in the clinic, while assisting the management team to maximize clinic performance and growth.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 1+ years of Registered Practical Nursing experience in a similar environment
- Valid CPR certification
- Strong client service skills and impeccable communication skills
- Solid work ethic, organizational skills and an ability to manage competing priorities effectively while remaining efficient in your delivery
- Self starter, motivated by goals and eager to wear multiple hats in order to grow with us
- Tech savvy, proficient with MS Office (MS Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience using a CRM/EMR, specifically PS Suite software
- Ability to work weekends and evenings based on business needs
