If you have over a decade of experience in the field, you could be the perfect fit for our team. You will be responsible for handling all structural engineering aspects of multi-discipline projects. Your expertise will be valuable in supporting projects related to Water/Wastewater Treatment, Environmental, Transportation, and more.
What will you be involved in?
- Lead the execution of design-build projects for transportation facilities.
- Act as a technical expert in structural design for transit facilities.
- Ensure timely project delivery and oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
- Create engineering drawings and supervise junior staff.
- Contribute to technical discussions to enhance structural design.
- Assist in proposal preparation for potential projects.
- Develop and implement QA/QC processes.
What you will bring to the team:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario.
- 10-15 years of structural engineering experience focusing on Rail and Transit projects.
- Excellent understanding of structural systems and practical design experience.
- Familiarity with industry codes and standards.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Additional skills considered an asset:
- Project management skills.
- Knowledge of BIM and REVIT.
- Familiarity with Rail and Transit design guides.
- Knowledge of structures-related technical publications.
