Position Overview:

Responsibilities:

Accounting Duties:

  • Assist in maintaining accurate and uptodate financial records.
  • Process exporting and uploading of journal entries from multiple data sources.
  • Reconcile bank statements and assist in the preparation of financial statements.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
  • Assist with audits and other financial assessments.

HR Duties:

  • Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.
  • Support the maintenance of employee records and databases.
  • Assist in benefits administration, including enrollment and communication with employees.
  • Aid in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Support employee relations by addressing inquiries and assisting in conflict resolution.
  • Assist in organizing and conducting employee training sessions.
  • Collaborate with the management team on various HR initiatives and projects.

Qualifications:

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with HR processes and procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Detailoriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Experience:

  • Previous internship or academic experience in accounting or HR is a plus.
