Rebalance Rehab is currently seeking a community-based Physiotherapy Support Worker (PTSW) who would like to join our team of Physiotherapists, Kinesiologists, Massage Therapists, Counsellors and other rehab professionals.

We are looking for someone who shares our vision for maximizing the quality of life for those we work with and for someone with compassion and integrity.

A PTSW plays a vital role in the physical rehabilitation of clients with injuries or disability. Working closely with a Physiotherapist, the Support Worker works to maximize the client's ability to manage daily activities independently. Within the treatment plan, they help the client with strength training, stretching, and other activities and exercises to help improve strength, flexibility, and range of motion

What skills and qualifications does a Physiotherapy Support Worker need?


A PTSW needs to develop multifaceted skills, Clear verbal communication, as well as active listening, are essential to the client/resident experience.

Problem-solving and critical thinking are required throughout the sessions.

Some skills include (But not limited to)

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, as working within a team and with other professions is often required.
  • Strong computer skills, including webbased software and client/resident documentation programs.
  • Observation Skills
  • Ability to communicate with a wide range of clients/residents.
  • Genuine desire to help others.

You will need:

  • Valid BC Drivers Licence (Location of work can vary from Agassiz/Harrison to Abbotsford).
