What We're Looking For:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Robust attention to Safety
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Previous experience in a forest products environment considered an asset
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding industrial environment
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • As we are a 24/7 operation, we require staff to work shift work, shifts rotate every two weeks
  • Day shift 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
  • Evening shift 3:30 pm to 12 am
  • Graveyard shift 12am 7 am
  • Weekend 12am 12pm (alternating) + 1, 8 hour shift make up day during the week
  • As we are not located in an area that is transit accessible individuals must have reliable means of getting to and from work

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • General housekeeping, sweeping, keeping equipment clean etc
  • Long durations of working while standing
  • Repetitive twisting and bending
  • Working on a production line
  • Exposed to hot and cold temperatures (mostly indoor work but exposed to external temperatures)
