Royal Venetian Mansion is a full-service event management and marketing firm that specializes in weddings, corporate events, social events, and other special events.
Essential Functions:
Coordinate all day-of event logistics such as food and beverage orders, rentals, etc.
- Manage vendors and vendors' vendors
- Coordinate with suppliers on order status updates
- Coordinate with production staff on set up and break down
- Prepare food orders for service or catering
- Coordinate with catering staff on menu items and order status updates
- Manage social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook)
- Manage online reviews from guests who visit the venue (reviewing events in Aurora, ON)
- Manage online reviews from guests who book events (reviewing events in Aurora, ON)
- Assist with special events (special menus, weddings) as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in hospitality management or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of 2 years experience in event planning/coordination is preferred.
- Strong computer skills (MS Office Suite) with ability to learn new software quickly.
