The objective of the SALES ASSOCIATE role is ensuring retail sales functions are carried out in an efficient and timely manner, with responsibilities including but not limited to talking to customers to ensure they find everything they need, and cashing customers out at the register.

The Sales Associates support store marketing and promotions, provide exemplary customer service, and maintain merchandising standards to ultimately drive revenue and customer satisfaction.


DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:

  • Provide a welcoming and supportive experience for customers by assisting them to find what they need and cashing them out on Shopify Point of Sale (POS)
  • Collaborate with the team to meet sales and promotional goals
  • Execute daily tasks outlined by the team
  • Ensure the store is opened and closed accurately
  • Maintain merchandising, cleanliness and organizational standards
  • Communicate customers' feedback and requests with the manager
  • Replenish stock and audit inventory to ensure accuracy
  • Be an extension of the EBW brand by presenting yourself in a friendly and helpful manner

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Shopify experience is a strong asset
  • Minimum of 1 year in a retail or customer service environment
  • Demonstrated abilities with sales + customer relationship building
  • Must be able to work well and remain motivated within an independent environment
  • Pay rate dependent on level of experience
