Client Profile
Our client, a well-respected Toronto firm, is currently in search of a Senior IP Litigation Assistant. This firm boasts a fantastic work environment and numerous opportunities for professional growth.

- Conveniently located office space in Downtown Toronto.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage routine inquiries and administrative tasks, such as email and calendar organization, expense reports, and account processing.
- Handle general administrative duties including travel arrangements and booking meeting rooms.
- Prepare patent and/or trademark submissions for filing with CIPO/USPTO/WIPO.
- Maintain the IP Database and digital records of intellectual property information.
- Process monthly billing and monitor deadlines and time-sensitive matters.
- Handle designated government fees and other administrative tasks.
- Offer support to other team members in the IP Group and undertake assigned tasks.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years in a litigation role within an IP setting, including Federal Court interaction and detailed procedural knowledge.
- Legal Assistant or Law Clerk Diploma from an Accredited Institution.
- Experience with Ontario Courts is beneficial.
- Familiarity with patent and trademark prosecution processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work well under pressure, and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Strong proofreading and grammar skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Handle confidential information professionally and efficiently.
- Detail-oriented with good time management skills.
- Capable of prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines effectively.
