Hours: Monday to Friday, *:00 am - *:00 pm
Salary: Base salary + Travel allowance
Reporting to: Director of HR
Responsibilities:- Driving to various locations
- JHSC Committee development and maintenance
- JHSC and First Aid training
- Monthly facility, first aid, and fire extinguisher logs for all locations
- WSIB Compliance – Filings, Return to Work, and Modified Duties
- Managing and communicating with stakeholders regarding health & safety and WSIB concerns
- Responding to emergency situations and facilitating incident/accident investigations
- Company-wide COVID-19 policies and procedures implementation
- OH&S board maintenance at all locations
- Quarterly meeting minutes
- Binder creation and maintenance of H&S documentation
- First aid supply ordering and inventory maintenance
- Yearly H&S policy and procedure updates
- Fire system and plans maintenance
- Equipment maintenance schedules
- Daily appointment and cleaning log recording
- Other responsibilities as required or requested
- University Degree, College Diploma, or Certifications in Occupational Health & Safety
- years of experience in applying Health & Safety legislation and regulations
- Certified member of JHSC will be considered an asset
- Valid G Driver's License with an acceptable driving record
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- High level of professionalism and ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills
- Positive attitude with a willingness to travel
- CPR training and WSIB experience is an asset
