As a Training Manager, the employee is instrumental in the growth and development of our training program.The successful candidate will work cross functionally with key business stake holders, including the leadership team, to ensure accurate, timely, and engaging training materials are deployed to facilitate the successful everboarding of new and existing team members.

Manage a company-wide training program covering business processes, systems, onboarding training and continuing education;
Lead, coach and mentor the Training & Development Specialist;
Determine training and development needs across the organization;
Accountable for the growth and reporting of Masters training program;
Collaborate with key business stakeholders to identify, assess and facilitate current and future training needs with a focus on positive learning during the everboarding experience;
Draw on relationships with managers and other stakeholders to identify employee process, technology, and insurance technical training needs and arrange for training opportunities;
Oversee development and implementation of feedback mechanisms for colleague programs, process improvement opportunities and technology, and reporting to key stakeholders;
Stay up to date with the latest trends in learning and development;
Manage reporting on a regular basis on training and process improvement to monitor performance indicators/metrics relating to learning initiatives and learner satisfaction;
Assist the HR team and management with career path, mentorship and development plans.
Minimum of 5 years of experience leading a training or learning development function
Working knowledge and/or understanding of insurance, including construction insurance is an asset
Experience proactively identifying operational improvements pertaining to training and development
Good knowledge of the MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook and Word)
