Here's your opportunity to join Quadra as we are looking for an Inside Sales Representative for our Health and personal care group. Based in Delta, British-Columbia, the Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for developing the Western Canada territory for the health and personal care group. In collaboration with the sales team, you will qualify various prospects, grow the territory by maintaining strong relationships while supporting the customers in your portfolio.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Inside Sales Representative plays a pivotal role in our team. This is an opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to yield results from their hard work. This is a well-defined role and the Inside Sales Representative is set up for success within the organization. What would be your main responsibilities as an Inside Sales Representative?:

Acquire a good working knowledge of all the products for which the group sells, as well as Quadra services, and maintain this knowledge up to date Fully identify and qualify potential new accounts and assess product needs through research, cold calling, networking, social media / website Plan pre-call schedules on important accounts in the territory Report any changes in business trends, customer complaints and defections, competitor activity and any expressions of customer satisfaction Maintain detailed records of contacts and commitments of potential and existing clients Participate in training to improve sales productivity, knowledge of product, customer engagement, etc. Attend sales meetings as directed by the Sales Manager Keep abreast of the knowledge of competing products, market/industry trends, regulatory/compliance changes Maintain a record of sample submissions with client test results and resulting actions Build credibility and always generate customer trust through professional conduct Complete and submit an updated report and sales forecast on the territory plan, including the previous quarter's achievements Work in an organized and efficient manner in terms of time and thus allocate as much time as possible for contacts with prospects and sales opportunities

What are the requirements needed to have success in this position?:

Bachelor's degree in Science, Chemistry, Marketing or Business would be beneficial. Post-secondary diploma is needed Proven experience in the distribution or manufacturing field, ideally in the Food, Pharmaceuticals, Cosmetics, Health industry Knowledge of the main products, their benefits, usage and understanding of industry trends Dealing directly with external customers would be an asset either in a Customer Service, Procurement or Sales role Ideally, this person will bring some sales experience; relationship-building, negotiation, prospection experience Excellent verbal and written communication Have acquired strong computer skills; knowledge of working with a CRM (ideally with Salesforce) and be able to work effectively with the Office suite and Order Processing System Ability and determination to seek out and pursue new business opportunities and make cold calls and prospect over the phone Being flexible and adaptable to changing market and ability to handle rejection gracefully and maintain positive attitude

British-Columbia Applicants: The annual base pay range for this position is reasonably expected to be $58, to $77,.00. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, education and experience.

Base salary is only a part of the total rewards package - this role will also be eligible for a generous incentive program and benefits.
