Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with our sales team to understand client needs and preferences
  • Use CET Designer for commercial interiors to create furniture layouts and design plans that meet client requirements and industry standards
  • Provide clients with detailed furniture specifications, including product details, pricing, and availability
  • Collaborate with others including interior designers, architects, and project managers, to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Stay uptodate with industry trends and product innovations
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and communicate project updates to relevant stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree/diploma in Interior Design, Furniture Design, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in furniture specification or related field
  • Excellent knowledge of furniture design, construction, and manufacturing processes
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in CET Designer for commercial interiors and other relevant software
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Brantford, ON N3S 0H4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- design: 5 years (preferred)
