The role will provide leadership with analytical data and insights to make strategic and tactical business decisions. The Commercial Operations Specialist
will provide understanding of drivers that influence sales performance to impact optimal processes within the commercial organization.

In this role, a typical day will look like:
Commercial Operations Protocol (40%)
-
Benchmark Pall Water commercial operations practices with internal and external best practices, making recommendations/gaining internal approval for execution of improvements and project management of implementation.
-
Collaborate with sales leaders to support deployment of consistent funnel management and improvements through SFDC and creating Standard work for the Global sales team.
-
Proactively identifies opportunities for sales process improvement. Works closely with sales management to inspect commercial process quality, prioritize, and implement opportunities.

Data Management & Analysis (30%)
-
Monitors the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports and other intelligence essential to the commercial organization in a timely fashion. Recommends revisions to existing reports or assists in the development of new reporting tools as needed.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor's degree/diploma in business, marketing, engineering or related field with 3+ years exp

3+ years of Commercial operations experience in sales, marketing, product management, customer service or other related commercial roles
-
Knowledge of reporting and data analytics tools like Excel, SAS, Power BI, Qlikview, Spotfire, Tableau, Business objects

  • Demonstrated
    ability to manage business processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to structure and conduct analyses to generate insight and recommendations.
  • Ability to travel when needed for meetings and site visits. Up to 10% of the time. Primarily throughout North America via car or airplane.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Commercial operations experience in sales, marketing, product management, customer service or other related commercial roles
  • MBA degree
