Duties and Responsibilities:
- Cleaning in accordance with the standards put forward in training of quality and meet predetermined timelines for departure cleans, deep cleans and midstays.
- Maintaining and cleaning cabins, hotel rooms, common areas on the resort and the clubhouse/office areas to the highest quality and completing scheduled tasks on time.
- Cleaning, stocking, and supplying designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, restroom cleaning etc.).
- Cleaning windows when required.
- Stock and maintain supply rooms.
- Carry out special cleansing tasks and projects.
- Keep a good line of communication with the Lodging team.
- Delivering the best possible guest and employee experience each and every time.
- Participating in all Occupational Health and Safety standards set for the department.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Completion of high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Driver's license preferred.
- Must be fit: the job requires climbing stairs, bending, lifting, kneeling, pulling, pushing.
- Must be able to stand, sit, knee land continuously moves throughout the workday.
- Must be able to lift 20lbs.
- Must possess safe work habits with an awareness of safe work procedures.
- Must be able to work with cleaning chemicals and can wear latex or nonlatex gloves when using chemicals.
- Must be flexible and adaptable under changing conditions, priorities, and unexpected situations.
- Must be able to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays. This position may require overtime and altered scheduling according to occupancy levels.
Salary:
$18 - $20 per hour - Wages negotiable with experience.
Seasonal and permanent opportunities available for full-time and part-time positions. Permanent positions available ASAP. For seasonal positions, start and end dates are flexible, running from beginning of April to the end of October.
