As a Payroll Specialist, you will leverage your experience with ADP payroll systems in Canada to manage payroll independently. Your primary responsibility will be to run payroll for approximately 320 employees across various Canadian locations. Additionally, you will assist with payroll processing for several countries in Latin America, with specific countries to be determined and training provided as necessary.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Independently manage and process payroll for approximately 320 employees across various locations in Canada.
  • Assist with payroll processing for several countries in Latin America.
  • Generate and analyze payroll reports from ADP systems.
  • Maintain timely and effective communication with employees regarding payroll inquiries and issues.
  • Handle payroll-related requests from the Finance Department promptly and accurately.
  • Ensure all payroll activities comply with Canadian regulations and company policies.
  • Participate in training sessions for payroll processing in Latin American countries as required.
  • Stay updated with the latest payroll regulations and ADP system updates.
  • Address and resolve any payroll-related concerns from employees or the Finance Department.

Education and certifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent in a related field.

Required Skills:

  • Extensive experience with ADP payroll systems in Canada
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong follow-up skills with employees and managers to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Proficiency in generating and analyzing payroll reports and managing effective communications.
  • Competence in handling various Finance Department requests, such as payment follow-ups and severance documentation
  • Proficiency in English and French is required, with additional skills in either Spanish or Portuguese being highly desirable.

Preferred Skills:

  • Airline experience and/or ATI know-how.

  • Rester à jour sur les dernières réglementations en matière de paie et les mises à jour des systèmes ADP.
  • Aborder et résoudre toutes les préoccupations liées à la paie des employés ou du département des Finances.

Formation et certifications :

Diplôme de baccalauréat en comptabilité, finance, ressources humaines, administration des affaires, ou équivalent dans un domaine connexe.

Compétences requises :

  • Expérience extensive avec les systèmes de paie ADP au Canada
  • Capacité avérée à travailler de manière indépendante avec une supervision minimale.
  • Compétences solides en suivi avec les employés et les gestionnaires pour assurer un traitement de la paie précis et en temps opportun.
  • Maîtrise de la génération et de l'analyse des rapports de paie et gestion des communications efficaces.
  • Compétence à traiter diverses demandes du département des Finances, telles que les suivis de paiement et la documentation de la cessation d'emploi.
  • Maîtrise de l'anglais et du français requise, des compétences supplémentaires en espagnol ou en portugais étant très souhaitables.

Compétences préférées :

  • Expérience dans l'industrie aérienne et/ou connaissance de l'ATI.
