Reporting to the Team Leader, New Business Administration, the Analyst assumes administrative and corporate tasks in order to meet the departmental objectives.


Responsibilities

  • Test reinsurance treaties in the administration system
  • Capture new business transactions provided by client's reinsurance files in the administration system
  • Analyze and complete new business transactions rejected by the automated capture process
  • Draft correspondence to clients regarding the new business transactions requiring adjustments
  • Prepare reinsurance invoices for clients
  • Collaborate with the internal/external auditors and the administration teams in the audit mandates
  • All other related work

Requirements Qualifications**:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Administration or equivalent experience
  • Perfectly bilingual French / English (written and verbal) supporting clients in Quebec and the rest of Canada
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (EXCEL, WORD and Outlook)
  • Knowledge of the life insurance or life reinsurance fields, an asset
