Conducts security clearance checks and provides recommendations to the appropriate parties. Duties - Union Reviews completed security clearance forms for accuracy, completeness and full disclosure. Conducts investigations, comprehensive interviews, rules out suspicious issues or areas of concern, compiles and analyzes information regarding the security clearance of potential/existing employees, volunteers and contractors. Identifies risks posed by the results of the analysis in reference to misconduct, criminality, corruption, or criminal affiliation. Prepares a variety of correspondence, comprehensive reports summarizing analysis, findings and statistics. Works within established security policies pertaining to the secure handling and release of information, maintains records, files and documentation. Researches files and information using RCMP databases and other information systems; software and applications. Communicates effectively orally and in writing to complete interviews and write comprehensive reports Results and Activities - Non union Credentials - Union Graduated from a recognized Canadian police training institution Experience Communication Excellence Computer Literacy Service Excellence Teamwork Problem-solving BC Drivers License – Class 5 RCMP Security Clearance Knowledge - Non Union Skills & Abilities - Non Union Competencies Posting Text Physical Demands Special Instructions to Applicant Please note: applications are only accepted until 4:00pm on the closing date.Positions that become vacant within the same classification may be filled as a result of this posting if the vacancy occurs within 30 days of closing.Testing may be required.
