Nutrition and Food Services
Under the general direction of the Manager of Nutrition & Food Services, the Supervisor is responsible for the day to

day supervision of all Nutrition and Food Service staff (excluding dietitians)

Span of supervision includes:
ordering,

inventory control, food preparation and delivery, menu development, ware washing, ensuring department compliancy

to government regulations, education, continuous quality improvement in the provision of food for patients, staff and

other customers.

Qualifications:

  • HACCP trained, current within 5 years, Safe Food Handling Certification
  • Must be a member of the Canadian Society of Nutrition Management (CSNM). Successful completion of an
approved Food Service Management 2 year community college program or the HealthcareCAN

  • Demonstrated, recent experience in successfully managing a large quantity production kitchen is essential
  • Minimum 2 years experience Supervising in an unionized environment
  • Retail supervision experience is an asset

Salary Range:
$36.145 to 42.524
