Warehouse Parts & Accessories Picker/Packer (contract)


The Warehouse Parts & Accessories Picker/Packer is a full-time, contract position on a daily work schedule from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays.

Start date is immediate and may continue to the end of August with the potential of being extended to the end of October.


Wage:
$16.00 per hour + 4% vacation pay.

  • Paid biweekly through direct deposit_

Responsibilities Include:

  • Order picking of customer orders to meet daily deadlines.
  • Checking orders for accuracy; posting orders; packing in appropriate sized box for shipping.
  • Packaging and assembly of promotional materials.
  • Light assembly of product for shipping.
  • General warehouse cleanup.
  • Miscellaneous tasks as assigned.

Key Qualifications:

  • Parts picking and shipping experience (an asset).
  • Demonstrated selfstarter who works independently with mínimal direction.
  • Ability to multitask to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
  • Must be able to lift materials weighing up to 25kgs.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A positive team player that works well in a warehouse environment.

Environmental Conditions:

  • Some dust, noise and fluctuating temperatures, consistent with a warehouse environment.
  • Walking and standing on hard surfaces for extended periods of time.
  • Heavy lifting and climbing up and down ladders.
  • Forklift traffic.
This position is located in London, Ontario.

Although bus service is available, it is infrequent. Reliable transportation is required.
