Office Administrator with Construction or Water

Responsibilities:
- Deal with insurance adjusters, negotiate and settle claims, and create job proposals using industryspecific software.
- Handle property insurance claims paperwork efficiently, including claim filing, documentation, and communication with insurance providers.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries, scheduling appointments, and addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain excellent relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and highquality delivery of goods and services.
- Conduct inoffice administrative tasks, including data entry, answering phones, and communicating daily with clients and insurance companies.
- Create and post daily ads on social media and job boards to attract new business and job applicants.
- Write regular blog articles related to the industry.
- Conduct bookkeeping tasks, including managing accounts payable and receivable.
- Occasionally assist in the purchasing process, including maintaining good vendor relations, obtaining quotes, placing orders, and coordinating the delivery of supplies and equipment to job sites.
Requirements:
- Excellent comprehension of the insurance claim process and documentation requirements of water damage loss mitigation and remediation is preferred.
- Very strong content writing skills are mandatory
- Strong organizational and timemanagement skills.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, bookkeeping and accounting software, and industryspecific software for job proposals and estimates (can be trained).
- Experience with Xactimate Estimating software is preferred but can be trained.
- Familiarity with IICRC Standards for Water and Mould Remediation would be a huge bonus but not mandatory.
- Understanding Ontario Building Code Standards would be an asset but not required.

$18.00-$24.00 per hour
