This team offers a range of services, with a focus on conducting IT risk reviews and providing IT internal audit support. The role involves assessing various topics such as data governance, system asset management, IT projects, and broader information security. Additionally, Senior Consultants will participate in training new campus hires.

What to Expect

  • Conduct assessments of IT risks and controls for both internal and external audit engagements, covering areas like:
    • Data governance models and procedures.
    • IT projects and system implementations.
    • Third-party management.
    • System asset management.
  • Support assessments on broader information security topics and IT General Controls (ITGCs).
  • Stay updated on relevant technology risk standards and practices.
  • Develop risk and control matrices, review procedures, and provide guidance on business process controls.
  • Manage engagement risks, ensure quality assurance, and deliver multiple client engagements efficiently.
  • Take part in business development activities to enhance awareness of the firm's services and strengthen relationships with clients.
  • Deliver services including research, technical testing, report writing, client communication, and mentoring junior staff.
What You Bring to the Role
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CGEIT.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in assessing IT or business process risks, preferably in a consulting environment.
  • Strong understanding of IT General Controls and audits.
  • Experience in data governance, system asset management, IT projects, and IT governance.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Proven adaptability in fast-paced environments with attention to detail.
  • Strong business and audit risk comprehension.
  • Confidence, enthusiasm, and willingness to travel as needed.
