Aplin has partnered with a leader in space technology to hire a Manufacturing Assembly Integration and Test Engineer. In this role you will create and implement integration and test flow plans. This is a three year long contract with opportunity for extension or conversion to a permanent position.
Applicants must be eligible to meet security requirements for Controlled Goods and Reliability.
Envision and generate assembly, integration & test flow plans
Produce sub-system and systems level Assembly & integration plans
Produce Test Plans/Procedures
Produce Build and Test production orders
Identify and define Mechanical support equipment (eg thermal/TVAC/Vibe)
Electrical/Electronic (eg EMI/EMI) support equipment for, all phases of AIT integration tasks
Ability to make sketches, engineering drawings and common computations
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawing, schematics and computer-generated reports
Previous experience with computer applications and software related to engineering field, such as Computer Aided Design (CAD)
Bachelor's degree in engineering required
