The Role

Your Impact

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to increase sales and market share for Key National accounts.
  • Collaboration with crossfunctional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations to develop and execute strategies to drive growth.
  • Remain informed on market trends, customer behaviour, and competitor activity, and identify new business opportunities that align with our company's goals.
  • Negotiate and close deals with Key national accounts to achieve sales targets, ensuring the delivery of value to both the customer and our company.
  • Develop and execute promotional programs and pricing strategies.
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics and provide regular updates to the senior management team.
  • Develop presentations and proposals for meetings and submission deadlines.
  • Manage key national account budges, including forecasting, planning, and spending, ensuring alignment with financial objectives.
  • Develop and implement trade promotion strategies and tactical plans with the customer.
  • Accountable for the strategic Account plan, based on internal objectives, as well as external competitive marketplace issues and opportunities.
  • Effectively manage internal and external relationships, meeting the agreed level of customer contact with all involved parties.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with national accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.

About You

  • You have great Sales and Account Management experience. Ideally, we're looking for someone with 45 years of experience in increasing levels of sales and supervisory responsibility in the consumer products industry.
  • Degree, diploma or equivalent in Sales, Business, Marketing or Customer Service.
  • Proven track record of successful sales growth and profitability.
  • Experience with negotiations; strong influencing and persuasion skills.
  • Sound understanding of order management, logistics, retail sales coverage and executing customer sales.
  • Strong financial acumen, with the ability to manage budges and forecast revenues.
  • Genuinely passionate about the CPG industry and are looking for continuous learning and development opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to think strategically, analyze data, and make datadriven decisions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
