Job Description:
About This Role
Lead a significant business management function and/or strategy planning, oversight, control or governance activities for highly complex / high risk / transformational (change the bank) / strategic initiatives, liaising across the organization and primarily interfacing with executive and/or functional stakeholders.
- Contribute to the strategic direction of the business management function and play a key role in the development and implementation of strategies in support of the overall business strategy
- Plan, lead / manage and/or oversee a diverse set of work activities requiring alignment across multiple areas
- Lead / manage the integrated implementation of policies / processes / procedures / changes in across multiple functional areas
- Facilitate key discussions and provides thought leadership to executive audience (output is roadmap and/or strategic plan/ deliverables/frameworks/ short to long term goals etc.)
- Lead partner to management / leadership and respective teams for area of specialization with industry, external and internal, enterprise and business awareness; recognizing and anticipating emerging trends and; identifying issues and opportunities and recommending action to senior management
- Work effectively with multiple teams across a broad spectrum of initiatives and functional domains, influencing and aligning others as needed
- Keep abreast of emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements and assess potential impacts
- Maintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes and sound infrastructure an in alignment with risk appetite
- Ensure business operations are in compliance with applicable internal and external requirements (e.g. financial controls, segregation of duties, transaction approvals, and physical control of assets).
- Lead relevant governance meetings or committees and related deliverables / outcomes
- Lead / facilitate and/or implement action/remediation plans to address performance/risk/governance issues
Requirements:

It helps if you have:
- Undergraduate Degree or relevant work experience.
- 10+ years of experience in management of Business Strategy
- Ability to assume accountability for a significant business management area that typically has enterprisewide impact or accountability.
- Confidence and ability to undertake and complete a variety of complex initiatives (may manage and prioritize multiple projects at a given time) that require seasoned specialist knowledge and/or the integration of crossfunctional processes (focus may be on longerrange planning for functional area (e.g. 12 months or greater).
- Thought leadership and/or industry knowledge specific (but not limited to) your own area of expertise.
- Strength in working directly with senior and executive management.
- Very strong presentation and writing skills of Data Story telling on how it drives value for the organization.
- Generally accountable for a significant business management area that typically has enterprise wide impact or accountability
- Enterprise or functional expert, requiring broad managerial and deep specialized knowledge at the enterprise, business, regulatory and industry levels
- Undertake and complete a variety of complex initiatives requiring seasoned specialist knowledge and/o
