Story Behind the Need
- Business group: Asset Liability Management & Funds Transfer Pricing.

Project:
- ALM FTP PLATFORM MODERNIZATION
- Automate and streamline all of the processes – The project is currently commencing.
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
- 8-10+ years of experience as a Python Developer working with C#, C++, HTML
- 5-8 years of working experience within a financial institution
- Hands-on experience in designing, developing and successfully deploying large-scale projects from end-to-end.
- Hands-on experience in following the iterative and agile SDLC
Nice-To-Have Skills:
- Banking Product knowledge or accounting/finance knowledge is an asset.
Typical Day in Role:
- The main function of a Developer is to design, develop, and implement applications using general languages and technologies (e.g. -
- C#, C++, HTML, Python) to support business requirements.
- Generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications
- Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts
- Assure quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area
Education & Certificates:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or a related field required
Candidate review and selection:
- 1st Interview with senior managers (1-2 hours) – MS Teams Video Call
- The manager will likely provide sample technical, coding tests, questions, and soft/skills questions.
- 2nd Interview potential w/peers and Hiring Manager (30 min) – MS Teams Video Call
- Behavioural questions, get to know and introduction of the role.
